Hello from Iguazu
We got to Puerto Iguazu this afternoon, and found a hostel through the tourist information at the airport. From the outside, the hostel looked pretty nice, but from the inside, our room was what one may call a stinking shithole (pardon the language). Its biggest problem was the bathroom, which as you can see in the picture below, has an 8m. high ceiling and a very little window.

Now, if you take into consideration that this place is a sub-tropical humid place, you get a really smelly bathroom. The shower has a unique feature, and you can get only boiling water, cold water, and ice-cold water. If you really want to use the shower, you have to switch between the cold water and the boiling water, and take advantage of the almost boiling and almost cold water in between. As you can see, a 5 stars hotel...
We left our stuff there, and took a bus from the central station to the Brazilean border, went through passport control, got on the bus again, and from there to the central station of Foz de Iguaçu, and from there another bus to the national park. The view of the falls is undescribable. It´s really an amazing place, and we´ll just leave it at that. If you wanna know what it´s like, you better come here yourself.
Now in this picture you can see Yaeli making freinds with a coatie.

These little cute ones walk around here freely. When we sat for out lunch break, one of them came towards us, and suddenly it jumped on the table, and violently grabbed Yael´s tuna sandwich. We don´t like them anymore.
From there we went to the bird park, which has really amazing birds - araras, tucans, papagaios and more colorful stuff.
Since it was getting dark, we went back to our lovely hostel in Puerto Iguazu.
OK, about our visit to the argentinean side, next time.
